Durham Gala

All-School Fundraiser

An annual dinner and auction fundraiser for special projects and capital improvements at each of the three Durham Unified campuses. Previously a fundraiser solely for the Durham Elementary School, in 2023 the event will raise funds for the growing list of needs at each of the campuses.

Funds are raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, and live and silent auctions.

What are we donating too?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

How can I donate?

You can go directly to www.durhamgala.com and donate. However, The Gala has four main ways to participate in donations.

  1. Provide gifts in kind to your grade baskets that will be a part of the silent auction.

  2. Donate your favorite wine or whiskey to be purchased at the Whiskey Wall during the event.

  3. Buy a table or ticket to the event.

  4. Become a Sponsor of the Event.

Who, What, When, Where

Anyone is welcome to our formal event in October 2026. Ticket Sales begin September 2026, click through to the Gala Facebook page to stay connected. 

Tables vs General Admission

Buying a table provides an opportunity to attend as a group. Tables are available for 8 people or 16.

  • Have your guests register at your table and place their card on file for easy auction bidding and drink purchases. 

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Guests must be at least 21 years old.

What to wear?

Cocktail to full on fancy. We encourage our guests to take the rare opportunity to dress up!

Why pre register your Credit Card?

Pre registering your card with our event allows for quick and easy auction bidding, and purchasing of drinks. 

Is my ticket transferable?

If you need to transfer your ticket to another person, please do so prior to March 10, 2023.

What is the refund policy?

Sorry, we do not issue refunds.
